Quadshock/tire problem not normal question

Well I figured it out guys, took my wheel off. Nick was right, the upper control arm bolt was competley gone. Jake Lamotta installed my new upper control arms a year ago, to the date. I told myself I would never go back to them because of all the times they screwed me over, and this gives me more reason not to return, but I went back so they could fix it, if they wouldnt do it for free I was gonna do it myself but it would have been a pain lining up the rear. So to my surprise it seemed like they actually cared this time, he was surprised the bolt had come off after only a year, so they put it on the lift, and in 10 minutes I was on my way home. WOW what a different car, I guess as the bolt was slowly coming out the car was getting worse and i didnt realise it, It was SOOOOO sloppy, I hit it a few times on the way home, and the car flew straight and actually put me back in my seat again, it wouldnt do that before, and I drove alittle more and did a uturn and slide around it and the tires actually spun, before when I would try to slide around a turn, the car would just rev really high and slowly go around and i would get what I didnt realise till now was bad wheel hop. So if your suspension feels sloppy, get uca's haha.

So good news shakerhood, quads are staying on haha, and when i get lca's ill keep them on.

Heres some pics of the damage, you can just imagine what the inside of the tire looks like :nonono:, damn lamotta performance.

Turn them quads around the other way, more clearance= bigger tire when they need to be replaced.

I officialy nominate you as the Quad Shocks spokesperson!!!!

Dude, I just dont like seeing people give out Bad Advice. A Blanket Statement that says toss your Quads is just not correct and the more people read it they tend to believe it and then pass the Bad Advice onto others.

I dont need anymore clearance, I have a 275 tire on there now, and I fit a 10" slick in the back, with the quadshocks NO PROBLEM, i got all the clearance I need :)

He never put them back on to confirm that was the cause of it.

When I get control arms, I will take it to the track and see my 60ft's and then take the quads off and go back to see the results. Itll probably be a while a few months but ill remember, and youll see the thread.

I think we should have "National Take Off Your Quad Shocks to Piss Shakerhood Off" Day. That'd be sweet

Your not Pissing me off, I am just trying to stop people from passing on a MYTH that they read and believe to be true. Do whatever you want with your cars.
