Roush quality of ebay saleen banners?

my windshield banner has seen better days so i was going to order one on ebay. however i wanted to see if anyone knew if they were a decent qualityor not, i want it to look like the stock one.

.....why not buy a stock one? Give Mark a call @PAS: (804) 784-8851. If you buy an aftermarket one, it may be cheapier but more times then not you get what you pay for!

i bought one from ebay (before i joined this forum and knew who PAS were) It was very good quality, but ihad nothing to compare it too as my car didnt have the banner when i bought it.

It was a PITA to fit though, i was glad i ordered 2 as i destroyed the first one trying to get it right.

I'm tempted to buy another from somewhere but have a graphics place apply it as its very hard to get it level...

Saleen Parts / Speedlab has the correct silver banners. Bought one X weeks ago.

silver? i thought most of the cars back in the day (fox bodys) came with white

Many more cars came with silver, than white, I believe. White was used on the SSC's and SA-10's, and also on white cars, obviously, but not a whole lot of others.

Beats me.

I think...

...white ones, with white wheels and blue stripes had white banners.

...white ones, with silver wheels and silver stripes had silver banners.

...white ones, with white wheels and silver stripes had whatever banners?

...color cars, with silver wheels and silver stripes had silver banners.

...color cars, with gold wheels and gold stripes had gold banners.

...SSCs had silver banners, maybe some white...beats me... I think #01/02 had white.

...SA-10s had silver banners. Debbie's SA-10 could have been the only one with a white banner. I don't remember.


I'm a fan of neon green banners and stripes, but I lack taste.

I just had to replace mine and ordered a cheap ebay knock off. To my suprise it was identical when I held it up to the original one on the glass. So all in all, Its just a vinyl decal that can be reproduced correctly if scanned in from an original. I gave $13 bucks shipped to my door and a Saleen original was $25 without shipping.

Just my opinion and I might have been lucky with my knockoff ebay seller. You may order from someone who cuts thier letters out with hand scissors and not know until it arrives
Just a gamble I was willing to risk and it paid off.
