I need to replace the front left fender on my car, found it for cheap here Fender
I need to know what else Ill need to install it, (old one dented so probably bent brackets), and where I can get the brackets/mounting parts asap

Make sure it's the same materials as the stock, that would suck if you bought a urethane fender, lol.

All the brackets are built into the fender, just save your hardware from when you remove your old one. The whole front end has to come off to get the fender off. First the headlights...then the bumper, then the header panel, then you can get the fender off...takes a while but you'll probably get the hang of it.

Well my bumper was coming off anyways, I needed to paint that before I sell the car (Low car, ice chunks in road left nice marks). Bitch of it is that I am selling the car, and today was the last day driving it home, (Just got an '05 F-150) rain/loose stones=ass end kicked out, slid side into sign post= me pissed off. Will a Haynes manual show location of all the fasteners and everything?? Im only home for a short time this weekend so I want this pulled so i can bring the everything back with me to start prepping them

So since the brackets are built in, and the dents arent too deep, Im going to assume ford was smart enough to make sure the brackets would collapse before any of the inner panels? well either way Im hoping that the brackets will match up with minimal bending and metal work. Heres to that...

I think the haynes manual will show some of the locations but not all(not sure on that one). It is still possible to have dented the fender aprons but i doubt it cause you would see that when you opened the hood. Good luck though!

WOW for once in my life, things might be going my way (knocks on wood). I was able to get a primed fender for $110 shipped, and the front lip on the door was the only other part hit. Luckily it was only about 1 1/2" in so it was just the skin, and the frame was still in shape.
Got the bumper, and fender pulled...(didnt need to pull Header panel? Much easier than I expected. Brackets in door jamb were not bent at all. Awaiting new fender, busted out hammer and dolly, and was able to unfold door, and pound it back into place, including matching the crease for the side scoop groove. Minimal bondo touch-up, some paint and she should be good.

Only other thing I need is the front piece of the rocker panel, that 5" section under the fender, and of course a new emblem.

I need to strip and paint the bumper, and paint the fender, doing that myself, but not sure how easy it will be to blend the patch work on the door, should I just take that in to someone or not??

If you don't have much experience with painting, take it to pro. IMO matching paint to other paint on a car is too much of a PITA to deal with.
