For the most part id like to think im pretty well versed and knowledgeable about the s197 but I do have ques on the 07 in relation to some things I have read. First ques, what is the stock gear ratio on a 5spd mustang gt? I know that the 05 and 06 cars had 3.55s but I read its now an option? Are 3.31s now the standard gear? Question number 2, Has there been a change to the cooling system? Last question, at my job which is at a dealer I have noticed certain cars which appear to all have the iup options have different **** knobs then others and different colors dashwork. grey and silver. thanks in advance.

1. yes, 3.31 is standard, while 3.55 is a $100 option.

2. yes, ther has been a change in the cooling system. something to do with location of hoses, IIRC. cant think of the thread that has this info in it at the moment. sorry.

3. there is a satin silver dash trim and a charchol dash trim with the IUP.

Can the difference be felt with the 3.55? How much does it affect fuel economy?
