I was thinking about getting a upper box intake. There is one for sell on corral and its for a gt40 lower.I have a cobra lower, same thing right?I was wondering if that will be too big for my setup?I know it works better with a blower.I do plan on running a blower next march when taxes come in.Would it be ok to run it n/a?Would i gain anything by switching to that upper intake vs the cobra upper intake?Would i be better off switching to a trickflow or holley intake?

here is a pic of the intake

think of a box upper like switching to a carb. yes you will loose some low end torque but the top end will pull--pull hard.

they are very good with a blower, imo if you already have a cobra intake then leave that on until you get the blower--then swap it out, but in the mean time get the lower ported by tmoss.

as for switching to a trickflow or holley, it all depends on how cheap the downs intake is. if you can get it for $200 then i say do the downs, but if they want $300 then hold out for a used track heat intake(or another comparable).
