I'm new to Stangnet!

Has anyone done a 2001 Bullitt engine swap into a 96 GT..
I'm considering doing this, but I don't know exactly if there are any
gotchas..
Only thing I can think of without seeing is the different TB linkage may
be a minor issue.. ( I'm optomistic! )

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

The bullitt engine is really just a 2001 4.6 engine with a different intake. So the only things that will vary intake realated. Basically air intake, throttle cable/curise cables, alternator, thermostat housing(99+can be modified not sure about pre99). those are the big things I can think of. Read up on a bullitt intake swap that my help you understand more.

Do a PI head and intake swap. You'll make the same if not more hp than a Bullitt. Bullitt's had only 5hp more than the regular GT. The Bullitt has a different twin bore intake and different pulleys. If you did a PI swap(heads, cams, intake off of 1999+GT), accufab plenum and throttle body, and some long tubes your car would be pretty quick.
