Question about CAI

I just picked up a 2010 GT and I am a newbie to the S197s. How does the factory CAI measure up to the aftermarket ones? Am I better of sticking with the factory set up and replacing the filter with a K&N or should I replace the entire system? If so what systems do you guys recommend? Thanks?

Depends on what you want out of it.

CAI will give you some HP but you won't get the full benefit unless you get a tune to go along with it.

Steeda and C&L are very good.

The steeda unit incorporates the scoop in the bottom of the air box like the factory unit so that it catches cooler air from behind the bumper/grill area.
