No reason to swap unless you want the cam

Even if you paid me, I wouldn't run that cam

Holy crap, how many threads have we had lately referencing the "B"?

hsean, do you know what cam is in the carbed engine? Usually there is some amount of difference between a cam ground for a carb or one for EFI, but if you don't know what cam is in there already it's a moot point.

ALL HAIL THE MIGHTY B-CAM!!!

That thing is a beast. John Force used to run one in his Funny Car, but eventually the NHRA banned it because the competition had no chance of competing.

Lol, no but seriously man, if everything else is stock, I see no need to change the one that is currently in it

thanks guys i bought the car from a neighbor of my mothers it was an 83 gt with the rebuilt 88 motor and he carbed it out .i will have to check with him as far as what type of cam he put in it.glad to hear that there is no difference i see you guys are not fans of the b303 so if i were to swap it out what would be a good one for a mild set up?

Custom ground, TFS stage 1 or a mild Anderson, probably in that order as well. TFS stage 1's cheap if your looking to be on a budget,, and its not bad if you upgrade heads in the future.
