I can't seem to find my Chilton service manual. My question is, is there any how to webpages on how to take out the radiator it looks fairly simple I would like to atleast know what I'm doing . Just wish I could find it almost tempted to fork out the 99 and get a Ford Service manual. If anyone can help out that would be cool. Home someone can give some pointers or help or something I don't want to be doing this in the dark LOL.

Dude just have at it. Once you get started it's pretty self explanitory. I had my rad and fans out in 5 minutes or less, I have a lift though so it was easier to get at the bottom hose. Even with a creeper it's a cake job. Probably one of the easiest things there is to do. Good luck with her!

Edit: Sorry guess that wasn't too much help...Pull the 3 Brackets on the core support. There's 2 rad brackets and one for the resovoir. then pull the resovoir out, disconnect the upper and lower rad hoses, move the harnesses out of the way, and she'll lift right out.

I have very little knowlege of cars and I replaced my own radiator in about an hour.

The hardest part of the whole job was getting the plastic screws out of the plastic cover/shroud.

You will be glad you didn't waste your money paying someone to do it!

Yeah I had a hell of a time getting the plastic screws out, I broke a few LOL I figure I can pick some new ones up somewhere I think I'm going to do more engine work than just the radiator
