Question about computer in SD cars.

What computer is used in the 87'-88' speed density cars? I have been kinda thinking of doing a 5-speed conversion on my AOD GT. I know on the mass air cars there is supposed to be no problem using the auto computer with a 5 speed, but what about on SD?

same thing applies. My sd eec was an auto, and it was converted to t5 using the same eec with no issues.

Cool figured I could still use it since it doesn't have anything to do with the tranny anyway. Just wondering though if the Mass air cars used the A9L and A9P what were the computers called in the SD cars?

I have a DA1 for an 87 automatic.

DA1 was the SD code. I have the stock one in my 88 and a 87 DA1 as a spare.
