Question about cutting X Pipe

Thats what I did but I wish I hadnt. In the end you only save a little money as mid pipes arent that much anyways and you can sell the one you have now. The one I have is almost completly re-made except for the X part and It doenst look as good with all the extra welds. Cough up the extra $ 40(mine was $75 to be cut and trimmed) and get a new mid pipe. You can have mine if you want....

I agree. Just sell it and buy an 1 3/4" longtube and a 3" mid pipe and call it a day. What combo are you looking at building?
