Hey all! When an engine builder completes an engine, they proceed to dyno it to see if their work paid off. My question is...is it safe to run a brand new engine on a dyno up to redline??? I thought engines needed to be broken in very carefully. it doesnt make sense to take a brand new motor and run it through its paces before it even sees a car. someone please clear this up thanks
