you can use a 10.5", 157t, 28oz flywheel. basically it is the same as a stock 5.0 flywheel with the exception of it being 28oz instead of 50oz. just make sure that you know what balance your motor is though.

You need to determine the motor balance before you choose a flywheel. Either that or buy(or re-use) the flywheel and have it re-balanced if it's wrong...

I didn't remember right off hand if they changed balance or if it was just the 5.0 that changed. He may also have an aftermarket motor which may carry a different balance (maybe a zero balance motor).

In order to mate the t-5 bellhousing to the 351w and use the factory starter you will have to use the same tooth count as the 5.0L use. This is 157. I have a 351w in my stang and I have a 157 tooth 28 oz center force flywheel.

Huh, sorry I didnt catch this earlier but thanks for the correction. I always thought it was 164 tooth and 28 oz, is this right in any case?
