question about headers

in need of headers. right now i have bassani o/r x and bassani cat back, is it worth spending the 4 or 5 hundred dollars on bassani, or would something cheaper do the same thing for me? looking for something that will connect up to the bassani x. equal shortys i think? also do all headers come with the egr tube hook up? because im planning on eliminating mine?

If you plan on eliminating the EGR, get some 87-93 headers. The only difference between those and the 94-95 ones is that the 94-94 have the EGR bung. You might save a few bucks by going with the 87-93 too.

I'm pretty sure all headers would probably give you the same hp so I would go with the bbk equal length they work just fine for me. If they do make a differnce its probably very minimal. Save the extra cash for another mod.

I have learned one thing when buying exhaust products..BUY THE BEST. I had a set of BBK headers and they blew **s. They leaked from the factory b/c they were made by monkeys. I fixed them myself by welding in the messed up ports and grinding them to fit. Then about 6 months later the middle of the collector began to leak on both sides. I finally just tossed them and bought a set of Bassanis for $320. I have had them for about 3 years now and they work great. A pain to install, but they work great.

does anyone know if the fox body longtubes will work in our cars
