okay i wanna know what kind of gains i would get with a new ignition. i also wanted to know what i should get to get the best gains. I like how much lsredstang is putting that much hp to the ground and i wanted to see if ignition would help that out a little.
In short...no it wont help. I spent over $300 on a new ignition and didn't heed the warnings ahead of time. Well, I wound up not making a bit more hp but the one thing that did happen was that the friggin ignition fried my coil pack so I got to replace it. I would definitely take that money and put it into gears, a t-lok, u/d pulley a shifter (luv my Tri-Ax), or even start a wheel fund. Just stay away form the ign, b/c especially stock, near-stock applications wont benefit any.
If you are hell bent on ign upgrades, you could always get some new plug wires, but they are more of a looks mod than performance.
