I am going to have the underhood of my fox painted in the next few weeks. I want to get it prepped for paint. I already washed it down with a commercial degreaser. I have a little bit of surface rust on the strut tower, and down where the sway bar mounts. Its not rotted just pitted and rusted. Should I wire wheel it to get all of the rust out and then clean it again with the degreaser? And then when its all clean should I spray the anti rust stuff on. What kind of bondo or putty should I put over it?, and then sand it down? Its been awhile since I've done any body work so I am just trying to get it down again. thanks
