Question about my speedometer

For some reason my speedometer between 0 and 30 mph it shakes back and forth...like the needle bounces up and down up until over like 30 mph. and also i feel as if the speedomter is 5 or 10 mph over my actual speed. Cause whenever i drive down a 30 mph road behind people i'm matching their speed yet my speedometer says 40...very strange. Anyone know how to fix this?

Usually a cable lube problem.

Cable lubrication problem for sure... Mine did the same thing for 6 weeks for the cable quit working altogether. Replaced the cable and the speedo worked perfectly.
