Question for those that know. I believe the GT500 Shelby Mustang has black side skirts. Are those the exact same pieces from the V6 Mustang?

I was thinking about ordering those. i have a White Mustang GT and plan on purchasing the California Special front and rear fascias. I like the black out treatment they each have. I am thinking the black side skirts would lool good as well.

If anyone knows, let me know.

I don't know. But I prefer the black panels. They are easier to keep clean and don't show rock chips, etc. like the body color panels do.

Looks like they are the same. In fact, they'd almost have to be. The body is the same for the GT 500 as normal Mustangs. The exterior differences are the front and rear fascias and the hood.

I have the flat black rocker panels from the V-6 on my GT. I just like the look of them. I think they make the car look a little sleeker. With the rockers painted to match the rest of the car, it looks a little thick in the middle (to me).

You can get the rockers from Ford for about $200 (I think that's what I paid). But you can probably get them on e-bay for about half that price. One thing to keep in mind though, the trim connectors that push in to hold the rocker on are not re-useable. They get pretty bunged up when you remove them. Get a new set from Ford. It's pretty cheap, maybe $15 for a bag full of them.

Awesome feedback guys, thanks. I will definitely be ordering these and the new pins.
