As mentioned above ... several options are available

I took the ... toss it and forget it ... option myself

The Cobra's came from Ford without one

I've never missed mine

Thats a matter of opinion. I have felt a difference in how sloppy the car felt with it off. And I have seen with my own eyes how after time passes of driving without the brace under harsh conditions the towers seperate and then the brace is doomed to never be able to go back on. So tossing it is not an option, upgrading however is

wierd Ive never seen the towers do that..are you sure that car didnt get in any kind of car accident inbetween the time the strut tower bar was removed and tried to be installed again? Id do the toss it method

Yeah, however the vehicle did have front coilovers.
