ok i have a 96 gt wit hthe mach 460 system and i as thinking about gettin rid of the "z" speakers. what i wanted to know if i buy new front speakers(5x7) if i can just take the clip thats on the factory speaker and cut off the little clip and strip the plastic tubing around the wires(the all back wire and the black and white wire) and hook them up to the - and + of the new speakers. would that work or not? i have heard that you cannot hook up aftermarket speakers to the mach 460 system but i didnt know if it was cause of the system or just the clip. so yea would stiping the wires and hooking them up to the new speakers work or not? thanks
