I got the countershaft back in the transmission, but she has no play whatsoever. Is this? She spins around just fine but I believe it needs a shim skinnier than what I have. Right now the stocker is in it.
Factory specs are 0.001" - 0.005" of endplay in the countergear.
Do you have shims? FRom what i've read, 8.8 shims work perfectly in this application
I actually am about to do the same myself. I just need to press my two bearings on at work monday and then i have the fun job of trying to shim my countergear
