I have had my mustang since April and I have noticed that there is a wind noise that sounds like it is coming from the back windows. My question is does anyone else have this problem as well?

I haven't had that problem, but sometimes when the top is up and the car is moving, there's a weird sort of intermittent rattling/scratchy sound, sort of like there's a mouse scurrying around on the roof. It only happens once in a while and I can't figure out where it's coming from. (and yeah, my car is rodent-free)

I haven't had any wind noise problems on mine. The exhaust seems louder w/ the top up than down--that seems strange, but I guess the wind carries the noise away when you're moving w/ the top down.

I have experienced MASSIVE problems with my top...including wind noise on the driver side when the top was up. I also had problems with the top motor burning out twice. I had a new motor and a whole new top frame installed. Seems to have helped.

If I were you, I would ask someone to put the top up for you while you watch from the front of the car. If it goes up and one side lags behind the other...that may be the problem. On mine it was pretty severe and it means the top is out of line and hence the wind noice. You can also check it when it is up...do both sides of the top seal the same way?

Good luck!

I found that if I turn my head a bit the wind noise moves to the other ear. It sounds like an ear lobe flapping. When I put the top up, it stops.
