I'm new to this website, and love all the awsome advise, let me just say. I have a quick question for the spintech guys. I am planning on running prostreets with flowmaster tailpipes for a GT. Are these mufflers close to the size of the stock mufflers or flowmasters, so I can get a close to stock fit. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

The Pro Streets are a bit smaller in size than the flowmasters, but I'm sure they can be made to fit with those tailpipes.

tailpipes actually quiet them down a little, mine are dumped right now, but im thinking of side exits for summer, maximum loudness.

Heres a sound clip, its on my big block, might sound a little higher pitched on a 302 as most people say in person my 460 sounds very deep.

thanks for the input guys, I will hopefully be ordering them in the near future. I'm going to try them dumped to start with, but probably will end up with tailpipes.

i was worried about this myself. i just ordered myself some spintech prostreets and case is definetly smaller than a flowmaster , which is what i had.

i want to run my tails, im worried that with these narrower mufflers, my tail pipes will be all crooked when they come out the back (95 gt).

im hoping they will line up better than im thinking.

input???

I have seen guys make bullit style mufflers work. The issue might be with the length of the muffler and getting it all to bolt up and be right. If thats the case a muffler shop, or even yourself if you can weld, can fab up a peice to cover the gap.

As far as dumps go, I personally HATE the way they sound. Unless the car has a big cam, big cubes, or is a race motor, dumps sound horrible (remember thats my opinion). Id run tail pipes if I were you, and you like them!

I don't think you should have a problem with them. I was going to get a pair from ebay yesterday but someone got them firs for $100.

im not as worried about a gap in the pipe . like you said, muffler shop can fill the gap with a piece of pipe. its the narrower case im worried about. the width is my concern because in my mind if the spintech has the same offset configuration as my old flows, that will make the tails come out closer to the tire

that make any sense? im not really explaining it good...
