Question on 03 kenne bell

My cars having a problem. when u are in 3rd gear and u get on it, at about 5000 rpms the motor starts to break up. I have checked the spark gap, and its at .35. It don't break up in 1st or 2cnd gear that i know of. I was woundering if it might be a fuel problem or a bad coil. The timing is set at 16*.

wow, you finally posted on here!

its mostly when its cold out , right?
i thought it did it in all the gears when it was cold and you werent running race gas.

BTW how are those MIL eliminators working out?
