I am putting these on and a couple of the 5/16" bolts that hold the pedestals down seem like they are bottoming out in the head. AFter I make them hand tight, the whole rocker can move side to side. I ended up grinding down an old bolt about 2 threads worth and it seems like its fine now. I can get the 20 ft/lbs around 1/2 to 3/4 turn. Anyone else ever hear of this? I called Crane and they said it would be ok as long as I don't overheat the bolt while grinding it down.
