Question on charger??????

I was thinking of finding a cobra supercharger to put on my 2003 GT how hard will that be and what do I need to do it?? Will spending the money be worth it? Does anyone know were I can get one?

You could probably find one from anyone who has replaced their s/c with a whipple or a KB. You are taking this from a Cobra though which is a 4v engine. You would have to have new heads and a few other things to make it works. I believe your exhaust manifolds would have to be changed as well. You would probably be better off just getting a kit from KB. You will spend a lot of extra money buying the parts just to make things work together. I'm sure some of the other guys will chime in here. Good luck!

You gotta get a GT supercharger...well you couild get the cobra but you would have to change the brackets and tubing... it wouild be cheaper to just buy a kit for your 2003 GT...I got vortech on my cobra, lots of guys are going w/ the KB cuz they like the roots style but I like to race my car at the track alot more than run imports on the streets so i went w/ the centrifigual...roots is like instant boost and centri. builds up as you get into the higher rpms and will climb past the roots type anyday. It just depends on where you want your power down low or up top.
