Question on clutch/flywheel

I have an early production 01 gt vert, and needed to know what the opinions were on upgrading to an aluminum flywheel and what clutch to go with, Also how to determine whether to get to get 6 bolt or 8? Last but not least 11" or 10.5"

early production is 6 bolt with 10.5 clutch

To make sure on your flywheel. look at the 8th character in your vin, If you have an "X", then it is 8 bolts, a "W" its 6 bolts. There should be an W there on yours. You also should have 10.5" clutch. A lot of people recomend the King Cobra clutch or Centerforce. Both good clutches. I would also recomned doing the flywheel also. You would need to either have your stock one resurfaced or replace it with an new one. I would go with an aluminum one. just my 2cents

Well, I checked and the 8th digit and it is "X" and the car production date is 12/00??????

Anyone else have any input? Thanks
