question on heads???

i have a 1992 mustang w/ e303 cam, 24# mass air, 24# injectors, cobra upper and lower intake, shortie equal length headers , custom offroad 2-1/2" x-pipe, flowmasters thats pro-dumped, underdrive pulleys, 3:73 gears, smod pump eliminator, 70mm throttle body, 1.6 analized aluminum roller rockers, mac cold air, short throw shifter... what kind of heads should i get to match up with this stuff??? i have a chance to get cast iron gt40 heads from a running 95 cobra for $350, but a friend told me to get aluminum gt40x heads or arp heads....should i get trick flow??

I would personally get AFR165s...they are pricey but from what I have read well worth the money

You could also go with the trick tw heads, its really your choice...i ddunno much about the gt40xs though..

are trick flow heads pedestal mount or stud mount???

Trick Flow are stud mount. They also require longer pushrods. What kind of rockers do you have? Certain rocker brands do not promote proper valvetrain geometry.

those rockers wont work with trick flow heads and I hope you mean anodized and not analized. I really am happy with my TFS heads but I know anything is better than stock. Those X heads are a non-emission head if that a concern. I have heard great things about thumper heads as well and if it were not for a little more extra cash comming my way , I was really considering those.

TW's if you want a screaming top-end, 165's work good too if you feel like paying too much for what you get

im happy with my edelbrock performer heads. all types of options here to with valve sizes and emissions setups. the 1.90/1.60 pedestal mount are the direct bolt on. buy em o-ringed if you plan on boost
