I need new O2 sensors and plan on getting a Tweecer here in a few days. I need to get wideband 02 sensors anyway, right? I have a Bassani x-pipe with cats. So, is there a certain type/brand to get? I already have a laptop, so is there anything else I need with the Tweecer other than a whole lot of time? Does anyone know the cheapest place for a Tweecer and wideband? Thanks...

Look into a lc-1 wide band sensor. I should have one here in a few days and i will post when I get it all hooked up.

They are $200 each. you can swap it back and forth between the both sides for tuning.

so, does the wideband replace the o2 sensors or do they attach to them? That's gonna suck if I have to replace my o2 sensors and have to get the wideband too. I thought someone said they replace the sensors, but I could have read it wrong.

I THINK you can hook up the wideband in place of ONE of the sensors. But you still need the other factory sensor IIRC.

The wideband itself is completely seperate from the other sensors. If you were to run both factory sensors, you would have to have another bung welded into your mid-pipe.

Check the classifieds on here and corral and other mustang forums for twEECers. I got mine 6 months used for $425 ($125 cheaper than new), and the LC-1 widebands that Brandon mentioned are great units that go for $200 with free shipping from some company on eBay.

You can go to twEECer.com and download the software now so you can get a feel for it before you actually have to use it.

You'll have more options available to you if you have a bung put in each side for your wb.

A wb is nothing more than a special O2 sensor, interface or controller, and a display.

If you are gonna use a Tweecer, you will want to have the wb's data stream dedicated for datalogging.

Several good ones are out there. Search this site and the Tweecer support site.
