I am going to be tackling this project today after work (replacing 6 piece headlight assembly and wondered if there are any tricks to it or is it just straight forward? Thanks.
Most aftermarket headlights fog up because the seam where the lens meets the backing isn't glued properly leaving open gaps where water and moisture get in, you have to put a bead of glue all the way around the seam to keep water and moisture out. a hot glue gun works perfect, it puts a glue weld bead on, sealing the lens permanently. Also don't overtighten the nuts.I am going to be tackling this project today after work (replacing 6 piece headlight assembly and wondered if there are any tricks to it or is it just straight forward?
