when i pulled codes off my car, its saying bank 1 and bank 2 running lean, the check engine light went away and it came back,

i was told it was the Mass Air Flow Sensor , M.A.P. Sensor, or the oxygen sensor, i want to fix this problem, with out change every part, if its not needed, can someone help,

I had just the opposite thing on my Ranger, it was rich bank one and bank two. That turned out to be the mass air flow sensor on mine anyway.

I had a lean condition on mine and ended up replacing the MAF sensor. My friend who works at Ford told me that they did an upgrade on the new MAF sensors. They're not cheap, so I'd try spraying it off real good with some electrical parts cleaner, clearing the code and see if it pops up again. Another thing to check for is vaccuum leaks and air leaks upstream of the MAF sensor.

what he said, clean the MAF and check for leaks first.

90 percent of the time you get this code on both banks its a vacuum leak
