Question on sound deadening.....is Dynamat worth it?

When you buy Dynamat, it feels like your paying more for the name rather then the product. Are their other sound deadening products that do just as good as dynamat for a smaller price? What do you think?

use Peel N Seal from lowes, its a asphalt based roofing paper with a foil backing. People complain of a smell, but i dont have that problem.Its about 11 bucks for a 33 sq ft roll

I agree, dynamat is just name brand. Fat mat works, the roofing stuff works great too.

I just put in a 100sq ft of FatMat in a monte carlo, it worked great and only cost $130 shipped but takes a little more effort to stick over Dynomat
