I'm thinking of installing some Eibach springs to lower my 94 GT Vert. The car has 61,XXX miles on it. Do I have to replace anything else when I do this? How much should I expect to pay a muffler/shock shop to install them? I called a couple of places, and they wouldn't give me a price over the phone, said they needed to look at the car's suspension, brakes, etc.... first to make sure everything checked out.
thanks,
mitch

You really don't "have" to replace anything else if you're throwin eibach's on, but it would be a really good idea to at least replace your shocks/struts, even if it's with a cheaper set such as some KYB's for example. As easy as the job is, most shops are going to charge you more than you're gonna wanna pay to do your springs. If you do a quick search on here, you can find instructions on how to do em, and it's quite simple if you use common sense and are safe about it.

You can do it yourself in an evening with the help of a friend, and some good handtools, and a good jack & stands.
