Hey guys I bought a used Paxton kit with a lot of stuff missing and just have a quick question. The kit has an Anderson power pipe and a Lightning MAF. Well I was curious... the lightning MAF has 6 pins and I believe on my 02 GT it has 5. I could be wrong on how many mine has im just going from memory. Will i need some kind of aftermarket wire harness to utilize this MAF? Where can I pick one up at? And second of all I need an adapter for the MAF so I can put an airfilter on it. Does anyone know where I can find one at? Thanks for the help.

No, it plus right in. You will, however have to have the transfer curve added to the tune, so don't forget to tell your tuner you have it.

Oh really?? Well that makes me a little bit happier. Will i even be able to drive the car to the tuner with it installed??

I realize they arent tuned for anything and that I will deffinetly need it to be tuned. I just want to make sure I can limp this thing down to my tuner. Hes about 45 min away.

That's probably not a good idea. Your maf is going to be way out, and so are your injectors. You are probably going to run so rich, that your plugs aren't going to worth a damn once you get there, and you may contaminate the the o2's that's if you can get it to run well enough to drive that far. You might try to figure something else out, like getting him to send you a base tune for you mods first, then drivin down to the dyno to teak it.
