I have a 1969 mustang with factory front disk brakes and a 9" rear end with drums. I needed a new brake booster and master cylinder so I pulled them off a 1988 mustang and will be using them according to this guide Fox Mustang Power Brake Booster Install . I was wondering if I could use the proportioning valve off of the 1988 mustang or do I have to buy a brand new aftermarket one?

my friend just installed a rack and pinion,Explorer 8.8 and newer brake booster,etc on his '67.He bought an adjustable proportioning valve from Summitt and it's working great,and,didn't cost that much.
