1988 FORD MUSTANG LX RED

didn't know they made 5 lug pony's? and with that kind of motor and that low of an asking price? seems shady

It was an option in 94 and early 95.. I was hunting for the picture of a brochure I remember that had pics... but no luck.

The 94-95 Ponies were a completely different wheel.

Mavromont has been making 5-lug Pony wheels for about 10 years.

That car looks like a smoking pile of crap to me.

I have never heard the wheels in that pic called Ponies, always known them as Waffle wheels.

^ sweet...

side note... why wouldn't they include a pic of a Mustang with the 17" polished wheel in the advertisement? Seems silly to me when that was clearly one of the best looking stock wheels to ever appear on a Mustang

"Available on V6 with Sport Appearance Package".

I have never seen a SN95 V6 that came with anything other than the nasty tri-bar wheels. I'd be willing to bet that that was a preproduction brochure and that those wheels never saw the light of day.

I had waffles and drag radials on my 94GT when I went for sleeper mode.

The Ponies were 91-93 wheels and Saleen back in the day made them both in 4 lug and 5 lug. I bought the Ponies from Saleen back in 1993 for my 90LX.

Are you referring to the first pic on that brochure???? If you are I completely agree with you, I personally like the 94-95 GT 17" tri-bar wheels.
