Questions about front coilovers

My struts/shocks are shot and I want different springs also, and I came across a good deal on a set of GR2 struts with QA1 10-375 coilovers. The springs are 10" tall 375# rate. I'm also thinking about getting KYB gas adjust rear shocks.

I don't know enough about spring rates to know if that would be a good setup for my car. I was looking for a little advice.

It's an 04 GT, daily driver, already has 4 bolt c/c plates, currently lowered about 1.5", full weight, mostly stock. I just want to make sure it doesn't beat me to death if I put those on there, and it needs to handle pretty well.

i run lakewood struts with my upr coils that are 12-250 spring rate and they feel perfect and i could def. daily drive them!

A 375lbs spring is very very stiff.

That's kind of what I thought.

I can change just the springs for 55$.

I don't know, I might just go with CJ's "Pro-Kit" for 172$, and some KYB's. The springs are the most important to me right now. Cut stockers with no isolators ride like crap. It was just a temporary solution at the time for my 4x4 ride height. Now I'm fixing it right.

A Pro-Kit, poly iso's, and some KYB's might be a good combo. I had that setup on my old Hatch Fox and it rode nice and handled decent.

My concern would be those GR2s not having enough dampening to control a 375 spring. I know bilstien HD's can only handle a 325 max. In order to go above that you need a MM sport valved strut.

Yeah, my buddy told me. He bought the same ones a while back. They're 172$ vs 210-220 just for saying Eibach.

I ordered them last night.

I'll probably buy some GR2 struts and some adjustable shocks with my next bonus in about a month.
