Questions about supercharging.

First, what's the loudest supercharger for our cars? I want people to know what's under there... every company's braggin about how silent it is but i want that whine when you put it to the floor. And how should I pay for one if I decide to go that route, credit card, loan, or be cheap and save?

A bad waterpump is by far the loudest.

V1 S-trim isn't the loudest but you can't miss it either.

Any race cogdrive centrifigul... Otherwise, the V1-Strim is really loud at idle.. Videos of mine blow cell phone speakers, lol....

Well this is probaly a better question... what's the cheapest? lol The vortech for the 86-93 is like $1800 but then jumps up to over $3000 for 94-95???

Vortech will be the cheapest you can find because it doesnt have an intercooler, etc...

actually Powerdynes are pretty cheap but dont have as much potential.

I dont have the patience to look for the receipt for mine but I could swear i spent less than that for my vortech. I bought it on superchargersonline.com or superchargers4less.com. Then again that was 3 years ago so who knows I could be crazy.

The loudest by far is a Roots. But then they're not cheap.

I'm thinkin of goin vortech v-1 stain because that's the cheapest i've found... i'm tired of being the slowest out of our crew lol

i love the procharger stage 2. its pretty loud. but for the price i would for powerdyne or vortech. i know people that have vortechs and they custom made piping and intercooler. with a good h/c/i combo + s/c, you good make pretty noise
