I recently installed a ported Bullit intake on my car, had a backfire and blew up my stocker, lol. At first it didn't idle too well and would die. Now it appears to idle smooth but every once in a while will die? Also, my car doesn't feel as fast even in the upper rpms? I'm not sure if its just me or the car. I'm thinking a dyno tune would do me some good....

i would do a dyno tune. also did you set the throttle body's idle? Did you check the voltage? that might have something to do with it if you didnt set it already. I would defnintly do a tune tho. The power curve between the stock intake and the bullitt intake is noticably different, with the bullitt intake being a little bit flatter accross the rpm band.

You don't need to set the idle on the throttle body, just keep it closed and the computer will handle the idle. Just make sure the TPS voltage isn't insanely out of whack and the IAC is okay.
