okay so as all you probably know i blew a head gasket and im in the middle of changing them but i have alot of question.
1. what do i have to do to block the egr valve ( i broke it will taking the heads off)?
2. what do i block the smog ports with thats on the heads and so on?
3.how do i get the power steering pulley off it want budge and it hides a bolt i need out to take off the driver side head ?
4. some of my rockers were kinda loose on my heads if i change the push rods will it fix the problem?

1. what do i have to do to block the egr valve ( i broke it will taking the heads off)
Trace the outline of the EGR on some 1/8" thick Alum and make a block off cover..make a gasket to...block the Vac line that use to feed it. youll need to take apart the valve, and put the plunger in the open postion to kill it... we can explain

2. what do i block the smog ports with thats on the heads and so on?
Same as above...makes some cover & gaskets and bolt em on.
I made these for the very reason you speak of...back is EGR, front is for heads. or you can cut the tubes, bend to seal the end and JB weld and use them to block the holes.

3.how do i get the power steering pulley off it want budge and it hides a bolt i need out to take off the driver side head ?
You need to buy or rent this puller..AZ of the like will have it for a small rental fee.
this is the puller..

Here it is installed....you use it for both on & off... Another option is to grind a wrench down to sneak in to that bolt and remove it...that way you can leave a pump pulley on if... name you poison there...

4. some of my rockers were kinda loose on my heads if i change the push rods will it fix the problem?
hard telling on that one??? high miles and your valvetrain may have seen better days... push rods are cheap though..

Hang in there...Plenty of us to help out as you go along....
