Before starting a new engine, proper priming of the oil system is absolutely critical. This oil pump primer eliminates engine wear from improper lubrication upon initial startup. This primer allows you to drive the oil pump with a 3/8 in. drill once the distributor is removed. It is made from black oxide chromemoly.
