Are 86-93 distributors interchangeable with 94-95 dizzys?

Hope? You are right. While the physical dimensions will fit, the 86-93 dizzy has their TFI module attached to the dizzy itself; ours is underneath the air intake. So the electrical portion of the dizzy (kinda important) won't work. You might be able to convert one to the 94-95 style, but would it be worth it? Dunno.

You would not wanna do it (it's better for Fox III's to convert to our set-up). The Fox dizzies had issues with the TFI overheating. That's why ours are remote-mounted.

Yeah, but our PIP sensor pretty much fails about as often, maybe half as often as the Fox TFI modules.

Only with a fox, a 30$ module and about 15 minutes of your time and you're cruising again. With our PIP sensor problems, it's a 2 hour ordeal.

I'm not aware of any part that was integrated. They function the same way on both cars.
The PIPs are comparable (and the fox III PIP connectors could actually be more trouble-prone).

The underhood heat from the slantnose and revised intake contribute to PIP failures on SN95's.
