Hey all,
Just got my 1 1/4" hollow front sway bar from Cobra Automotive, and it's a beaut. I'm going to try the big front bar/light shock combo (low preload on my coilovers) and see how it goes. Asked the phone guy and he uses one on his '70 Mach 1 and doesn't say it's too stiff. (I think I have a 7/8 rear sway on my 'vert)
Dumb question is: can I replace it at ride height w/o jacking it, just pop the new one in, or do I need to unweight the wheels? I have the Boss 302 crossmember so that should keep the control arms equidistant either way . . .

Generally you only want to adjust the mounting points with the car at ride height. If you plan on using the factory mounting points, then ride height shouldn't matter, so long as you are able to bolt it up.

you can jack the car up to help in getting it on but don't tighten it all down until the car is back on the ground
