Hey all just got a quick question. One of my front headlight bulbs just burned out, and I was wondering if Saleen used something other than stock for headlights in '99. Thanks!

Nope, those are stock mustang headlamps. If you go with replacements get some of those HID bulbs. Super white bright.

HIDs are nice but are on the pricey side. Lamps are somewhat expensive, then you need ballasts, etc.

If you want a less expensive direct replacement, you can look at the Sylvania Silverstars. I think they are rated at about 4100K. I have had good luck with them on two of our cars. You can probably pick them up from many of the larger auto parts chains for about $40 for the pair. Then there are PIAA lamps.

I have the Silverstars in my car (along with aftermarket smoked headlights) and they seem to work better then the stock setup BUT, i still dont like driving at night. Its still a little hard to see.

Vote for me.
