ok, so i fell for the whole intake spacer and TB spacer thing. i just got them in, bolted it all up, plugged the sensors back in, reconnected the battery.....and now my car stalls. wtf? everything seems ok. doesn't seem like there is a leak. any ideas? i'm desperate. i'm going to go check it all again. i'd just take the spacers out, but that won't necessarily solve my idle problem. f***. anyone...please? thanks...

What type of stalling? Does it hold an idle at all, die when you give it gas, stall randomly?

it turns over and then just dies. it tries to keep an idle for about 1/4 second and then stalls.

i just off the stupid TB spacer, plugged everything back in....and still the same problem. i have the intake spacer on there still, but that's so small it doesn't seem like taking it off would do anything. i'm thoroughly frustrated and out of ideas. i'll check the IAC plug again, but i just put it on, and it clicked in place.

Double check everything. Hose on the back of the plenum, pcv, iac, tps, and maf connections.

Do you have a code reader to see if it's throwing any codes?

Also, if you give the car gas when you try and start it, does it run?

could it have anything to do with the EGR? i had to undo the two bolts to lift the plenum up for the spacer, i tightened it as much as i could, but i did't have a new gasket for it. ??

Doubtful. I pulled mine off last weekend and the gasket was shot, and the car was fine w/out a new one. Did you check the vacuum lines between the TPS and IAC? If you want, grab a few pics of things and maybe something will stick out.

ok.....delete this post. even though i checked the car over fifteen times, it seems there was a hose that came unplugged underneath the intake arm. it was very hard for me to see until i took the intake off of the TB again to make sure i wasn't missing anything. thanks for all your help. think i'll just sell the spacers. everyone seems to think they are a waste anyway. i'll just wait for the accufab stuff. thanks so much again.

Glad you got it all worked out. I couldn't tell you how many times I've gone over something 100 times, and yet I've overlooked the stupid problem every time.
