quick help with cam selecetion

well decided to throw a cam in with my heads off.

GT-40p Heads
Trickflow street heat intake

smog doesnt matter. which cam would be the best and has that "cam" sound to it. looking for a really lopey cam. using 1.7 rockers and must clear stock pistons. which pushrods?

oh by the way these are brand new heads from tri state cylinder head and have lift of .550 springs

If you just want some lope, put a small hole in one of your vaccuum lines. You are going to get lots of people tell you to get the TFS 1. So go buy it.

you will need to clay it and check it , its gonna be close with either one .....

I do not think you are going to get anything to work larger than a E303 or B303 cam with 1.7RR, but as always, you need to check clearance with clay, it inexpensive and saves $1000's in engine damage. Don't get in a hurry.

+1 for the TFS Stage 1 w/ 1.6 RR.

Its cheap and good, just the way I like it.

for a mild build I like the b-303 with 1.7s. B has the "lopey" idle you want.
