QUICK lower intake gasket help please!!!

I am putting my engine together right now,, the 1250 lower intake felpro gasket seem to fit like sh-t.. do you have to trim alot on them? The water pockets are alomst covered all the way up.. These are for my twisted wedge heads, with tfs lower.. Are the #'s on the gasket supposed to be up? i assume so. And the blue around supposed to be up? thank you.... tony

I'm not positive, but the water jackets on your TFS heads are probably bigger than the gaskets since they are designed for stock 5.0 heads. Just do a little trimming, you'll be allright.

een if I cut into the ble stuff around the gaskets? I know I have to uses form a gasket around those parts anyways, but I just want to see if i'm going to mess them up..

well, i called trick flow and they say trim away!!! I hope cuting into the blue isn't going to cause a leak!!!!! thanks guys,,, tony
