Guys I have a question about oil that has sat in the pan all winter.

If I start it up with the oil that is in there will it cause any issues or am I being paranoid?

The backyard is way too wet to jack it up to get under it, and it is going to rain again on the weekend. I was hoping to get it on the road today but I can't get the oil changed.

You shouldn't have any problems with it. Did you change it before you parked it? The only thing that may have happened would be condensation in the oil but there wouldn't be too much. Go fire that beast up! Change it when you get a chance.

You should do what I do each year for the "first start". I pull all the plugs on the coil packs and spin the engine over a couple seconds,a couple times. Kinda like priming the pump before giving it the full go. I'm know I'm still turning the engine over but I fell better turning it over slow for a couple seconds, rather than letting it run at a high idle for a couple seconds with no oil.
