I thought it would be a good idea to drive down to Taco Bell and grab something to eat Thursday. Up in Gleneagle at the time it was just wet ... clear ..
I get down through Smokey Point with my 315 Nittos and it's a freakin' snow storm from hell. Traffic is going a good 5mph from the airport to Smokey Point Blvd which really worked in my favor. Lack of tread meant it was a good challenge to keep it straight and just get moving period from a stop. I would have taken the Metro had I known what was going on down the hill.
There is no where to turn around where I was so I had to pull into Alfy's and just ordered a Pizza.

Fortunately it was after 5, and the sun break was visibile heading north from Marysville. I gave it a little bit of time for people to wear down the road and I was able to limp back home (not before doing a couple donuts around the Alfy's parking lot).
I've been working from home which works to my favor of not having to drive anywhere ... but the first time in weeks I try to go anywhere during a week day and it was total mayhem.
