does the supercharger whine\spool when you free rev the engine in neutral?


just curious. Im thinking about putting a blower on my auto 02 GT. It'd be cool to show it off to my friends by popping the hood and reving it if the blower would scream in neutral or park.

My blower doesn't scream when I rev the engine out of gear or with the clutch depressed. It is loudest at idle, actually. Even when driving down the road, the exhaust and engine drown out the blower when you get on it.

mine makes basically no noise. which is what i wanted, but i guess the only time you can tell it is even supercharged is when you downshift and come to a stop.well you can also tell its supercharged when i blow bye 'vettes like they are in reverse.

My buddy's Kenne Bell makes no noise at idle. You dont even hear it till 4-5k.

Are you thinking about buyign a blower because it'll make whining noises to impress your friends? That's RICE!!!!

Now, if you are buying it becasue it adds buckets of power and would like it to also make noise that's ok.
